All staff of HopePoint Christian School must support and demonstrate through their daily lives, the school’s Statement of Faith. As a Christian school, we employ staff who profess the school ethos and demonstrate the same beliefs, thus are practising Christians.
For any advertised position, it would be advisable to contact the school and ask for an information pack. Inside the pack will be further information about the specific position being advertised, a job description with roles and responsibilities and any further requirements not specifically addressed in the advertisement. This information will be available electronically, if you prefer it rather than the postal service.
You would provide with your application, evidence of your qualifications for the position for which you are applying, references – both character and spiritual references are required, any previous work history, the name of your place of worship and your involvement there, a page or so of introduction explaining why you think you would be a suitable candidate for the position. Other relevant information for the position should also be included.
If you are applying for the position of a classroom teacher, you would mainly be responsible for the education of the students in your care. All staff take responsibility for nurturing and caring for all the students in the school. Staff are expected to counsel, guide and support the students and families within our school community.
You would abide by the policies and procedures adopted by our school.
